Len Millar Motors Ltd is the principal automotive repair business in Turangi.

Len Millar Motors has been providing automotive repairs from its present site for the last 30 years. The business comprises:

• A busy, three bay, auto mechanical workshop with separate wheel alignment room and parts service
  
• Authorised Vehicle Inspection Centre for Warrant of Fitness (including Quality Assurance System)
• 24 hour tow service provided by two tow trucks

After 30 years, the owners want to retire and take time to relax. They are offering their well-known automotive and towing business for sale in two options:

The main building

Staff:
Millar Motors is operated by the owner (an automotive diesel mechanic by trade) with assistance from two full time auto mechanics, a school boy (part time) and an office person. The present owner will provide 2 weeks training before, and after, handover. If required, the present owner can offer telephone assistance to the new owner for up to 3 months.

Customer database:
The business sale will include a customer base with full service and repair history. All other relevant data, parts lists, and workshop manuals will be included with the business sale.

Suppliers:
Len Millar Motors Ltd is a shareholder in, and has major buying rights with, New Zealand and Australia based Capricorn group. Other details of business suppliers and specific arrangements will be made available to the new owner.

Turangi - "the trout fishing capital of the world"

Turangi, built on the banks of the Tongariro River just minutes from where the Tongariro River flows into Lake Taupo. The area offers challenging brown and rainbow trout fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, kayaking, sight seeing and much more.

Turangi was planned in 1964 to meet the temporary needs of the Tongariro Hydro-electric Power Scheme. Turangi mushroomed almost overnight from a tiny fishing retreat to a town of over 10,000 people. Turangi is the ideal base for excursions into the Tongariro National Park , Kaimanawa Forest Park, Pureroa Forest Park as well as being only a 40 minute drive to the Whakapapa ski area on Mt Ruapehu.
