1. Accommodation: We have 9 fully serviced self contained chalet units (sleeping 2-5 people). Plus a 9 bedroom (sleeps 3 per room) lodge accommodation with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
2. Restaurant fully licensed, with conference room
3. Bar that specialises in the day time trade for travellers .
The business' main season is from Labour weekend to Easter this is increased by the Ski Season June to September.

The present hotel (the 1st was built in 1865) is a modern complex built above the banks of the Waimakakiri River on a 3.4 acre site on the edge of the National Park. This unique location will never be replicated again.This is combined with the best climate in the National Park area(we have less than 1/3rd of the rainfall and many more hours of sunshine compared to Arthurs Pass and Otira villages).

Day to Day Management
Staff
The business is run by the owners with the help of a Cleaner/ Kitchen hand. A part time cook/kitchen hand and full time Cook. In the summer peak season this is supplemented by backpackers looking for seasonal work.
Hours of Operation
We Operate 7 days a week. Opening at 8.00 am in the summer and 9.00am in the winter.Closing times vary.With Key drop off for late arrivals.
Stock
Depending on the time of year the wet stock for the bar, food stock for the resturant and cleaning stock could be in the region of $15,000 to $20,000
