New Brighton Bar Business For Sale
Christchurch, New Zealand

Bar, food and gaming at the seaside
New Brighton is a perennial seaside favourite of Christchurch residents.
New Brighton Beach is only a 15 minute drive from the City Centre and is famous for its Pier and as one of the best surf spots in the Christchurch area. The golden sand swimming beach is bordered by Marine Parade and the Brighton Mall.
The Brighton Mall is a new seaside development that offers eclectic shopping, bars and cafes among broad pedestrian walkways and tall Phoenix Palm trees. Bar 25, in the heart of the Mall, is a great place to relax over a drink. The Bar also offers gaming and restaurant services and there is plenty of free parking in the area.

The bar was purchased by the present owner as part of a larger purchase of the surrounding land and buildings. Most of these buildings are tenanted by retail-leisure businesses with some retail space still available for lease.
The owner has little expertise in the hospitality industry and the business is currently being run under management. He has now put Bar 25 on to the market on a "walk in walk out" basis and is seeking a new owner with hands-on experience in the bar and restaurant trade.

Bar 25 offers both indoor and outdoor seating for food and alcohol consumption.

New Brighton and Christchurch
New Brighton Beach is 10.5 km north-east of Christchurch city centre. The beach is popular for sunbathing, beach volleyball, and surfing. The most famous landmark is the New Brighton Pier - 300 metres long, 6 metres wide and 7 metres above high tide. There is a new purpose built library and attached cafe and restaurant at the entrance to the Pier.
The Pier is a real drawcard for New Brighton with most visitors taking time to stroll along its length. New Brighton Beach also has a clock tower, sound shell, and a children’s playground with a Whale Pool for babies and young children.
Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island and the main gateway for International visitors to the South Island. The city has many neo-Gothic stone public buildings, beautiful parks and gardens, and leafy suburbs with Victorian and Edwardian colonial wooden villas. It is often described as the most English city outside of England.
With nearly 350,000 residents, Christchurch offers an amazing selection of outdoor pursuits. There is nowhere else in the world where, within two hours of an international airport, you can ski at a world-class alpine resort, play golf at a top class golf course, bungy jump, go white water rafting, hurtle down forest tracks on a mountain bike, watch whales, or visit world-class wineries and gardens.
