Farmview Cottages Accommodation Business For Sale
Mangawhai, Northland, New Zealand

Peaceful, private and with stunning views
Farmview Cottages offer the highest standards of comfort and hospitality in private cottages, apartments and studio units.
Nestled on a hillside above the Mangawhai Harbour in Northland, this bush-clad property has superb estuary and rural views. Little Barrier Island and the Hauraki Gulf are clearly visible from the owner’s house at the top of the hill.

Apartments on the top floor, Studio Units and Reception on the ground floor
Farmview Cottages offer a lifestyle business combining peace and tranquillity for the owners with an income from the accommodation units. The Cottages are only 90 minutes north of Auckland and are popular with couples and families taking a break from their busy city life. The Cottages are also popular with international tourists exploring this picturesque part of New Zealand.
There is much to see and do in the area. Mangawhai Village has trendy shops, restaurants, and cafes and the township of Mangawhai Heads offers white sandy beaches, surfing, boating, diving, kayaking, estuary and surf fishing, and coastal walks. Other choices for guests include tennis, bowls, mountain biking, horse riding, visits to local wineries, or playing 18 holes on the acclaimed Mangawhai Golf Course.
Farmview Cottages have come on to the market because the owners are retiring. At present, the business is operated mainly during the summer. During winter, the owners switch the phone to diversion (to accept future bookings) and go off for extended periods on holiday.
This business would be ideal for a couple seeking a tranquil lifestyle with support from an established income base. There is scope to expand the business for year-round bookings and as a Spa Retreat, or as Corporate Hideaway, or as a Small Wedding Venue.
If the property is purchased by an overseas buyer, the present owners will refund them with two economy class air fares (conditions apply).
