Travel & Tourism - Bed & Breakfast Business For Sale Picton New Zealand
Experience the Gracious ambience of Picton's Finest colonial Villa
Built in 1886 by Englishman George Smith, Sennen House is one of Picton's original and grandest homesteads. The property sits on approximately 2.7 Hectares of Queen Elizabeth II National Trust protected land including native forest and gardens and is registered under the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. Despite its secluded position, this magnificent property is only a short stroll to Picton's amenities.
Sennen House has been in operation since 2002 and has undergone extensive renovations in keeping with its gracious style and era, to complete the 5 unique and luxurious apartments and suites that it now houses. The exisiting owners, having carried out these renovations and with a successfully growing business, vacated the property in 2005 when they relocated a 1900 villa onto the site as the Gatehouse and managers accommodation.
It is rare to find a combination such as Sennen House has to offer, but Sennen House is a rare gem indeed. A property of historic importance, renovated to an exceptional standard with its own backdrop of native forest, space to graze 2 sheep, an established and respected business and all within less than 1km of Picton's centre.
